Mumbai: Deepika Padukone, who made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Om Shanti Om’, has entertained the audience by working in many films. Last year, Deepika’s lead role film Pathan, Jawaan rocked the box office. However, at this time she is in the news due to her personal life. Deepika and Ranveer Singh have recently given birth to a daughter. Now that she has become a mother, she has spoken openly about her problems. Speaking at the Live Love Life Foundation lecture series on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Deepika talked about her experiences related to health.
Deepika said, “When you don’t get enough sleep or you are tired, it affects the decisions you make. Sometimes I feel like this. There were days when I did not get enough sleep and I was not able to take care of myself properly; which affected my decision-making ability.” Deepika further added, “Many times people give too much importance to the wrong things, especially things like trolling. Actually, we should learn from it and move on”, she advised her fans.
The actress says, “It is normal to feel angry, sad and other emotions; but it is more important to learn from it. How you deal with criticism and what you learn from it is very important. Along with hard work, you also have to learn patience.” Meanwhile, speaking at this lecture series, she was trolled after the release of her debut film Om Shanti Om. However, one of the comments stuck and it was about accent, ability, talent and words. So I worked on myself. She said, “A little criticism is good. Negativity is sometimes a good thing; due to which you change yourself for the better. Deepika said that when you get criticism, what you do and how positively you take it, that is what matters.
