Korba. A major accident took place today in Pali-Tanakhar village on Ambikapur-Katghora National Highway in Katghora police station area. A big update has come in this regard. Actually, this morning about 12 teachers, teachers and students left for Pondi-Uporda in a Winger vehicle. Meanwhile, a Mazda truck coming from the opposite direction hit their Winger vehicle. After this incident, there was a lot of screaming on the road.
After the road accident, the people nearby took the injured out of the vehicle and sent them to Katghora Hospital. However, two female teachers Anjana Sharma and Manju Sharma died tragically in this accident. The other injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The injured include Abhay Srivastava, Devraj Prajapati, Rahul Tanwar, Gayatri PV, Dipankar Das, Shubhra Choubey, Riya Solanki, Roopika Sharma, Nikhil Yadav and Ruchika Chatterjee. The police have registered a case against the truck driver. The reasons for the accident are being investigated.
