Madhya Pradesh: Sources in the Civil Supplies Department said that fair price shops in the district are providing free ration even to those beneficiaries who have died. Even those who have moved out of the district and live in other places are also getting free ration. Some female beneficiaries, who are married, are also taking free ration. Such a situation has happened because their names have not been removed from the portal of the Civil Supplies Department. Finding such people has become a challenge for the officials of the Food and Civil Supplies Department. Sources further said that the owners of fair price shops are facing many difficulties in preparing the e-KYC papers of these beneficiaries. E-KYC (Know Your Customer) of consumers is being done at fair price shops. They are updating the full ID of the beneficiaries. But many people are avoiding the process of getting e-KYC done.
