The water worker was on his regular duty on Monday morning and in the evening he suddenly slipped and fell into the tank. When no one came to him in the evening and when his family members and his colleagues tried to contact him on his mobile, they could not contact him. After which everyone started searching for him at their own level. During this time in the evening, the water workers saw the slipper floating in the tank, after which his body was recovered at the bottom of the tank when the water in the tank was reduced late in the night. Police reached the spot and took the body into custody and first took it to Civil Hospital, Dahar.

DSP Sundernagar Bharat Bhushan confirmed the matter and said that the pump operator working in Lift Drinking Water Scheme Dahar of Jal Shakti Department Sundernagar died after slipping in the tank and falling into the tank. The police got the body post-mortem done, handed it over to the family members, registered a case and started investigation.
