Dhanbad (IANS). Sensation spread after the body of 13-year-old student Aakriti Mona Oraon was found on the side of GT Road in Govindpur police station area of Dhanbad district on Tuesday. The student was a resident of Mandar, Ranchi, who used to live in Dhanbad and study in a coaching center called Super 100.
The girl’s family members have reached the spot. They are accusing the girl student of murder.
The police have taken the coaching operator into custody.
In protest against this incident, the girl’s relatives and local relatives blocked the GT Road for some time, demanding justice.
Police have seized a note from the student’s pant pocket, in which she has allegedly mentioned her problems regarding exams and studies.
Mona’s family members say that an attempt has been made to murder her and make it look like a suicide.
Mona was preparing for admission to Indira Gandhi Residential School, Hazaribagh. In the past, she had failed in the entrance exam twice, due to which she was upset. The incident took place before the entrance exam was to be held in the next few days. The body of the student has been recovered and sent for postmortem. Police say that every aspect is being investigated in the case.
