Dashoda Dhruv opened a grocery shop with the loan received under the Tribal Women Empowerment Scheme

Raipur. Raipur. To strengthen the social and economic status of women, many schemes are being run by the central and state government and are continuously working for their upliftment. The main objective of the government is to empower women by providing them income and employment opportunities. Tribal Women Empowerment Scheme is one of those schemes through which women are being made economically empowered and self-reliant. The objective of the scheme is to meet the lack of infrastructure of the tribal community by supporting them for their education, employment, skill improvement, health and hygiene.

Dashoda Dhruv, a resident of Nayapara Mahasamund district, has set an example of ideal entrepreneurship by taking advantage of the Tribal Women Empowerment Scheme. 47-year-old Mrs. Dhruv has received a loan of Rs 1 lakh under the scheme, with which she has started a grocery shop, which she is running successfully. She is earning 8 to 10 thousand rupees every month from the shop and is taking care of her family. Dhruv said that her husband used to work as a laborer earlier and she was a housewife. She said that opening the shop has increased her monthly income. Due to which the financial condition of her family has become strong, and self-reliant.

This success of Dashoda Dhruv is not only the result of her hard work and dedication, but also shows that with the right support and resources, women can face any challenge and become self-reliant. Adivasi Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana has played an important role in realizing her dreams. It is worth noting that Adivasi Mahila Sashaktikaran Yojana is a special concessional scheme for the economic development of eligible Scheduled Tribe women. In which loans are given on the basis of need through State Channelizing Agencies. Beneficiaries have to meet the eligibility criteria of NSTFDC and follow the terms and conditions of lending by SCA.
