Cyber police action, 5 gamblers arrested

Janjgir-Champa. Police have arrested 5 gamblers while gambling in Muralidih village of the district. Rs 14,300 cash, four bikes and playing cards have been recovered from them. Action has been taken against all the accused under the Gambling Act. The matter is of Mulmula police station area.

According to the information received, the police had been receiving information for a long time that gambling was being played in Muralidih. SP Vivek Shukla instructed the cyber team to take action. On which Mulmula police and cyber team have jointly taken action.

During the police raid, some gamblers fled from the spot, while 5 people were caught. These include Muralidih resident Sanjeet Ratre (24), Bhuvan Bhaskar (31), Umed Kumar Yadav (39), Gopal Yadav (30) and Anil Kashyap (20), resident of Akaltara in Kirari police station area.
