Singh, a resident of Bengaluru’s JP Nagar, is reportedly involved in 277 cyber crime cases across the country and was also an accused in 84 cases in various police stations in Telangana.

Singh, who was lodged in Chanchalguda jail in a case registered in Telangana, was produced in the Sangareddy court on Wednesday on a prisoner transit warrant as he was charged in four cases of cyber crime registered at different police stations. From the district.
According to Superintendent of Police CH Rupesh, Singh had used 60 phone numbers, 63 IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) devices and 13 bank accounts to lure and defraud people over the past few years.
While three cases were registered against him at BDL Bhanur police station, one case was registered at Gummadidala police station. After appearing in the court, he was sent back to Chanchalguda jail.
Sangareddy SP asked citizens not to fall into the hands of fraudsters by clicking on links from strangers offering free offers and suggested citizens to call 1930 or lodge a complaint on the NCRB portal if they fall victim to cyber fraudsters.
