Criminal murdered in Nashik Sarai, three arrested
Maharashtra: A criminal was murdered at an inn in Untwadi in the city on Tuesday night. The local crime branch police arrested the accused in the incident within just 12 hours. On Tuesday night, when everyone in the city was preparing to welcome the New Year, three people planned to drink alcohol in an open field behind the Public Works Department building in Kranti Nagar area on Untwadi Road. When Laxman Gare was at home, at around 10 pm, suspects Ganesh Bhavsar and Rizwan Qazi, residents of Kranti Nagar, came from Laxman’s house on a two-wheeler. They took him to an open field on Untwadi Road saying that they would have a 31st party. There they brought out an old quarrel and argued with Laxman.
Abusing each other, both of them threw stones on his head. As soon as Laxman fell in a pool of blood, both the attackers fled from the spot on a two-wheeler. On receiving information about this incident, the crime branch teams started searching for the suspects. The police took the body to the district hospital. Relatives and friends of the deceased youth had gathered in the hospital premises at night. Both Bhavsar and Qazi are notorious criminals in the police list. Police sources said that serious cases of assault and causing injury have been registered against them earlier. A case was registered in this regard at Mumbai Naka Police Station late night. Police received information that Shubham Mirke and his companions were coming to Phulenagar area on Peth Road. Police laid a trap and arrested Shubham Mirke (21), Arun Valvi (21), Rizwan Qazi (29), residents of Kranti Nagar. They confessed to committing the crime with the help of their partner Ganesh Bhavsar.
