New Delhi. Former Indian cricket team player Yuvraj Singh reached the Delhi High Court on Tuesday to get relief against the builder. The Delhi High Court has issued a notice to a real estate company on Yuvraj Singh’s petition. The former Indian legend has pleaded for the appointment of a mediator to settle the matter. Hearing Yuvraj Singh’s petition, the Delhi High Court has sought a reply from Brilliant Etoile Private Limited. The former Indian batsman has alleged violation of personality rights and delay in delivery of the flat.
In fact, Yuvraj had booked a flat with Brilliant Etoile Private Limited in Hauz Khas, Delhi in 2021. At that time the price of the flat was said to be around Rs 14.10 crore. He got the flat in November 2023. When he saw the flat, he found that the quality had been compromised. Cricketer Yuvraj Singh said that the builder compromised on quality and the quality of fittings, furnishings, lights and finishing of the flat was poor. Due to this, the former Indian batsman has demanded compensation for the delay in giving the flat and using poor quality material in it.
