Credit for developing and making Raipur a beautiful capital goes to Brijmohan and Sunil Soni: Shivratan

Raipur. Raipur South by-election in-charge and former MLA Shiv Ratan Sharma strongly countered the baseless allegations of Congress and said that today’s developed and beautiful capital Raipur is the result of the hard work and vision of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Raipur has been made an ideal and developed city during the tenure of BJP candidate Sunil Soni as Mayor and MP. During this period, many notable projects and development works have been done in Raipur, which include expansion of roads, drainage system, promotion of cleanliness and greenery.

Shiv Ratan Sharma said that the eyes of Congress leaders are covered with the veil of scams and corruption, due to which they are unable to see the development work. He said that due to this the public ousted the Congress from power. Raipur MP and former minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, who was 8 times MLA from Raipur South, and Shri Sunil Soni, while being Mayor and MP, together contributed significantly to the development of Raipur. During their tenure, work has been done on many aspects like infrastructure development, traffic management, expansion of health services, and smart city projects in Raipur. Under their leadership, Raipur has made its mark as a modern and organized city.

• Thinking 50 years ahead, 33 water tanks were constructed and a 150 MLD water filter plant was installed.

Sharma said that the Bharatiya Janata Party considers development and public service as its main objective. For the BJP, serving the public and making their life easier is paramount. He said that the aim of the BJP in the upcoming Raipur South by-election is to take this development of Raipur to new heights.
