In the meeting of the Peace Committee held on Tuesday in the Collectorate Auditorium, the District Collector said that in view of the upcoming festivals, we can maintain Bikaner’s tradition of social harmony and harmony only with mutual coordination and cooperation. He said that after Eid, Kavad Yatra, Ramdev Yatra and other festivals should be conducted with peace and respect. Tense atmosphere hinders the progress of the society. The District Collector said that the meaning of peace is to cooperate for progress. Immediately inform the administration regarding anti-social elements. It is the primary responsibility of the administration to provide a safe environment.
Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam said that no leniency will be shown to those who spoil the environment. Police will deal strictly with anti-social elements. Do not be a part of broadcasting baseless news or spreading rumors on social media etc. In whose name the phone or SIM card is, any wrong post will be the direct responsibility of the concerned. Do not post news having feelings of hatred towards any caste, community, gender, religion etc and if anyone is found doing so then police will take action. He said that people who create threats are being identified.
