Convicted of two murders, out on parole, now kills wife

Latur: A frightening case has come to light from Latur in Maharashtra. Here, a convict of two murders, who came out of jail on parole, killed another and absconded.

Police said on Wednesday that a murder convict, who was out on parole, allegedly shot his wife dead in Udgir of the district. The accused Amit Natkare alias Sonu absconded while the incident created a ruckus in the area. A police officer said, Natkare was earlier convicted in two murder cases and was sentenced to life imprisonment in one of them.

Coming out on parole, he was harassing his wife Bhagyashree and demanding her to bring money from her parents so that he could file an appeal against his sentence. Late on Tuesday night, the two quarreled over the issue and Natkare allegedly shot his wife twice. Police have started searching for the accused.
