Manendragarh. After the attack on the car of BJP MLA Guru Khuswant Saheb in Bemetara district, politics has heated up in Chhattisgarh over the issue of deteriorating law and order. Now the Congress has made a unique demand. Congressmen of Manendragarh have demanded additional security for Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. In this regard, Congress leaders have also submitted a memorandum to the Superintendent of Police of the district Chandramohan Singh. Congress has cited deteriorating law and order in the memorandum.
Let us tell you that the convoy of BJP MLA from Arang area and Guru Khuswant Saheb of Satnami community was attacked by anti-social elements late on Saturday evening. MLA Guru Khuswant Saheb was on a tour of Bemetara district on Saturday. He was returning to Raipur after attending a program organized in Navagarh.
Between 7 to 7.30 pm (IST), his car was suddenly pelted with stones near Bhoinabhata on Bemetara-Raipur bypass. In this attack, the front glass of his car was damaged. As soon as the information about the incident was received, local police immediately reached the spot.
