Congress leader arrested along with his friend in a fraud case of Rs 40 lakh

Balodabazar. A case of fraud of Rs 40 lakh has come to light in the name of getting admission in medical college through VIP quota. On the complaint of the applicant, Kasdol police registered a case and within 24 hours, the accused Youth Congress District General Secretary Raj Gaikwad and his partner Deepraj Gaikwad have been arrested.

In this case, Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh said that last night Chand Ram Yadav, a resident of Kharche, Kasdol, filed a report of fraud. He told that two people from Raipur have taken Rs 40 lakh in the name of admission of his son in Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, in which ten lakh rupees have been paid in cash and thirty lakh rupees online. After taking the money, he has been making him run around for a year.

ASP said, accused Deepraj Gaikwad and Youth Congress District General Secretary Raj Gaikwad have been arrested. The accused are being questioned. In this action, the role of Kasdol police station in-charge Ritesh Mishra and the staff was important, who took prompt action and arrested the accused.
