BRS challenges Revanth Reddy
BRS on Monday Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to declare whether he would step down from his post if he was unable to fulfill his promise of implementing the farm loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh by August 15.
Speaking to reporters at Kondapur in Sangareddy district, senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao said: “The Congress government has not even paid the Rythu Bandhu amount to all the farmers. All the announcements of Revanth Reddy are lies. There is no sign of bonus for Paddy, nothing has been heard about increase in Aasara pension or `2,500 per month for women. These failures will ensure the defeat of Congress.
Earlier, speaking in Medak, Harish Rao said it was certain that BRS candidate P. Venkatarami Reddy would win the election as the Congress had done very little for the constituency. He said that it was the then Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao who created Medak district. “Did Revanth not see development in Medak when he went there recently? The collectorate where the nomination was filed was built by KCR,” he said.
