Congress expelled 4 leaders including former alderman from the party

Raigarh. After voting in the civic elections, both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress have started taking strict action against the leaders and workers involved in anti-party activities. Congress has expelled four leaders including a former alderman from the party, while the BJP has also prepared a list of rebels and the process of taking disciplinary action is underway.

Due to resentment over ticket distribution, many BJP workers contested the elections as independent candidates against the party or worked against the party’s authorized candidate. After the elections, the candidates have lodged complaints against such leaders in the party forum.

The BJP’s disciplinary committee has so far received complaints of anti-party activities against five people. These include famous names like BJP Mahila Morcha District Vice President Ankita Chaudhary, senior BJP leader Pinky Panda and Kiran Dubey.
