Bhopal: A seven-member committee has been formed to investigate the fire that broke out in Vallabh Bhawan, the largest administrative building in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. This committee will submit the preliminary report in three days and the detailed investigation report in 15 days.
A fire broke out in the old building of Vallabh Bhawan on Saturday morning and engulfed the third to fifth floors. Burning of government documents and files has also come to light. A seven-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman to investigate this entire incident.
Apart from Principal Secretary Sanjay Dubey, Neeraj Mandloi, DP Ahuja, Additional Inspector General Fire Services Ashutosh Rai, Bhopal Division Commissioner Pawan Sharma and Police Commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra have been made members of this committee.
This committee will assess the damage caused along with the cause of the fire and will also determine who is responsible for the incident. This committee will also suggest the extent of damage caused to the building and measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
