Bilaspur. Addiction to mobile games took away the life of a young man. Hurt by the scolding of family members after losing 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees in online games, the young man committed suicide by hanging himself. His body was found hanging from a tree at some distance from the house. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
24-year-old Deepak Shrivas, a resident of village Madanpur of Ratanpur police station area, used to do farming, but in his free time he used to be busy playing online games on mobile. He used to borrow money from his acquaintances to bet in the game. A few days ago he lost 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees. When the family came to know about this, they scolded him and instructed him to stay away from the game.
On the morning of February 1, Deepak was sitting quietly in the house playing games on mobile. Seeing this, the family members scolded him and asked him to leave the game. Angered by this, he left the house and did not return. The family searched for him the whole night but could not find any clue. The next morning some people from the village saw Deepak’s body hanging from a tree at a short distance from the house. The family and the police were immediately informed about this.
