New Delhi: In an announcement made on Friday, state-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) disclosed a reduction in the prices of 19-kilogram commercial LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders in four major metro cities.
The cities included in this price adjustment are Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. Effective from November 16, the prices have been decreased by 57.5 per cylinder.
The revised prices stand at Rs 1,775.5 for a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in New Delhi, Rs 1,885.5 in Kolkata, Rs 1,728 in Mumbai, and Rs 1,942 in Chennai.
It’s important to note that while the prices for commercial LPG have seen a decrease, there has been no alteration in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders across these cities.
Earlier this month, OMCs had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders in several locations throughout the country. This recent reduction marks a change in trend after two consecutive price hikes in the past two months.
