Collector, SP and SDM reached Real Ispat Steel Plant, ordered investigation of the explosion.

Balodabazar. Six workers below the chamber died on the spot due to a blast in the Dust Settling Chamber (DSC) coming out of the clean at 9.40 am today at the Real Ispat Plant located in Bakulahi of Bhatapara tehsil. Five workers were injured in this and have been referred to Bilaspur Burn Trauma Centre.

Collector Deepak Soni and Superintendent of Police Bhavna Gupta along with the district administration team are present at the spot. A detailed investigation report of the incident has been directed to be prepared under the chairmanship of SDM. The Real Ispat Plant is being sealed immediately. The plant management is being questioned. The deceased and injured workers are from other states.
