Bijapur. Every day there are complaints about the night shelter built near the bus stand of the district becoming a den of drug abuse. On this, the Collector reached the night shelter along with the bus stand and took stock of the situation here in which he saw that a notice has been issued against the hotel operator who has taken unauthorized occupation of the passenger waiting room in Bijapur New Bus Stand after taking information about their allotment area and asking them to vacate it. At the same time, two persons were staying in the night shelter for the last three days without submitting any identity card and without entering their names in the register. Also, expressing displeasure over the absence of complaint and suggestion box, the Collector confiscated the register and took action against the operator. Gave instructions.
Instructed the shopkeepers operating the bus stand complex to pay their allotment electricity bills regularly and keep the complex clean. The said person was handed over to the police after he was found in an intoxicated state by another person keeping his commercial goods in the community toilet behind the bus stand. Also, the police administration was instructed to investigate every person coming from outside the district or staying here and if found suspicious, take necessary action against him.
