Coal rack point located at Naila railway gate became a problem for the people

Janjgir. The coal rack point located at Janjgir Naila railway gate is causing various problems at present. Mainly to send the coal coming from Deepak Gevra Korba mines to other places, a rack point has been made for storing coal near Janjgir Naila Railway Station gate. It is common to carry several tonnes of coal every day on this route. Since this route is the main route between Naila Railway Gate and Kanhai Bandh Tunnel, the common citizens traveling on this route are facing countless problems every day.

If the gate is found closed then people have to resort to this coal washery and tunnel route. Due to coal lying on the road, people have to face a lot of difficulty in commuting. Many times people have also become victims of accidents. Be it summer or winter, these coals lying in the open are neither covered nor sprayed with water. During the rainy season, this road remains a storehouse of black mud and during the summer season, it remains a heap of black dust. The poisonous black dust of coal ruins the crops of farmers in nearby villages, has a deep impact on their health, and also causes huge damage to the environment. Which does not get any attention from any administrative officer, it causes problems only to the common citizens, farmers and the environment.

Making them aware of this serious problem, farmers and common citizens raised the problem several times with the responsible officials, protested but no action was taken. Unless a major accident occurs on this route or the poor common people and farmers do not start a violent movement due to these problems, no officer or leader will pay attention to this problem, till then the common citizens, farmers and the environment will be affected by this problem. Will keep struggling. In this regard, when side incharge of Coal Rack Point Santosh Choubey was talked to, he said that the coal storage will be covered as soon as possible and water will be sprinkled. Instructions are also given in this regard, but the problem will not be resolved. Companies and contractors engaged in coal transportation seem to be shrugging off their hands, as a result this problem is becoming increasingly serious.
