Nothing is going to launch a new smartphone under its subsidiary CMF. The upcoming device called CMF Phone 1 will be launched in India on July 8, 2024. The device will be released along with CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2.
Some key details of the device has been confirmed by the company ahead of the launch. The device’s rear camera module, important sensors, processors, a removable back plate, and more.
Camera features
CMF has revealed that the device will feature a dual rear camera system housed within a vertical, pill-shaped module located at the top left corner of the back panel. The two cameras in circular shapes have been placed vertically within the camera module. The CMF Phone 1 will feature a 50MP Sony primary lens paired with an f/1.8 lens.
The camera features of the device will include Ultra XDR support, enhancing the quality of captured images.
MEanwhile, the soon-to-be-launched device is expected to carry a 16MP front sensor.
Removable plate
The phone is teased to feature a removable back plate, which will make it easy for users to repair the device by providing access to the battery and other internal components.
MediaTek Dimensity Processor
The CMF Phone 1 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM that supports expandable virtually up to 8GB.
6.67-inch AMOLED Display
The phone will boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
In-display fingerprint sensor, 5000mAh battery expected
The CMF Phone 1 will likely be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a robust 5,000mAh battery, promising up to two days of usage or 22 hours of continuous YouTube streaming.
Other features
The phone will be protected from dust and water with an IP52-rated build.
Expected price
It is expected to be priced below Rs 20,000 and will be available for purchase on Flipkart.
