Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday emphasised that the state government is committed to resolving the problems of all and assured that definite action will be taken against the complaints. Addressing the Janta Darshan organised at the Gorakhnath temple and listening to the concerns of around 400 people, an official statement said. The UP chief minister handed over written complaints to the officials present and directed them to resolve each problem promptly, qualitatively and satisfactorily. He emphasised the importance of sensitive and timely attention to each complaint, ensuring transparency in the process.
Adityanath directed strict legal action against land encroachment and called for an inquiry into places where victims are constantly facing troubles, stressing the need to establish accountability. He also directed officials to investigate why some victims did not receive administrative assistance and ensure immediate assistance to every affected person, the statement said. During the Janta Darshan, many people sought financial assistance for medical treatment, to which the chief minister assured them that lack of funds would not be a hindrance in their treatment. He directed the officials to expedite the cost assessment process of the hospital and submit it to the government immediately. Financial assistance for treatment will be provided from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund. He also directed the officials to issue Ayushman cards to all eligible persons to address their health concerns, the statement said.
