A historic and unprecedented road show of the Bharatiya Janata Party was organized in Jagdalpur today under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, in which huge public support was seen. BJP workers and local citizens participated with full enthusiasm in this grand road show which started from the airport. The crowd gathered on the roads decorated with lotus flags indicated the massive victory of the BJP. Chief Minister Sai appealed to the public to make the BJP victorious with a huge majority by pressing the lotus button on February 11 and make Jagdalpur get the benefit of triple engine government by making the councilor candidates of all 48 wards including mayor candidate Sanjay Pandey victorious with huge votes. He said that just as Congress was taught a lesson in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, in the same way, Congress has to be taught a lesson by making BJP win in the municipal corporation elections as well.
BJP government will fulfill every promise of “Atal Vishwas Patra”
Chief Minister Sai said that BJP has released “Atal Vishwas Patra” and every promise made in it will be fulfilled with full honesty and commitment. He said that as soon as the BJP government was formed, a wave of development has been unleashed in just 13 months, which has further strengthened the public’s trust in BJP.
The Chief Minister said that the BJP government has released an amount of more than ₹7,000-8,000 crore for the development of urban bodies, which will ensure the overall development of cities. He assured the public that more than 3 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas will be built in the coming years, a new law will be brought to give ownership rights to the families settled on Nazul land, 25% discount will be given in property tax in the name of women, those who pay electricity bills and property tax on time will get the benefit of PM Awas Yojana, women of self-help groups will get loan without guarantee up to ₹ 2.5 lakh, street vendors will get financial assistance of ₹ 30,000 and students who pass UPSC will be given assistance of ₹ 1 lakh under Mayor Samman Nidhi.
Chief Minister Sai said that unprecedented schemes have been implemented in the state under the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the benefits of which are directly reaching the public. 18 lakh families have got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the support price of paddy has been fixed at ₹ 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals of paddy is being purchased per acre. Farmers are being given two years’ pending bonus, 70 lakh mothers and sisters are getting the benefit of ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana’, tendu leaf collection rate is ₹5500 per standard sack, more than 20 thousand devotees are getting the benefit of Shri Ramlala Darshan and Kashi Yatra and landless agricultural labourers are being given financial assistance of ₹10,000 every year under ‘Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Yojana’. The Chief Minister said that as soon as the BJP government was formed, a new chapter of development has been written in Chhattisgarh, and now the pace of development of cities will be further accelerated with the massive victory of BJP in the municipal corporation elections. He appealed to the public to make BJP victorious with a huge number of votes so that Jagdalpur can be made a smart and prosperous city.
