Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev prayed to Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba and Lord Bholenath and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state. Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary was also present on this occasion.
Cosmanara Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba Dham located in Kosmanara is famous as a center of faith. A large number of devotees reach here to have darshan of Baba Satyanarayan and Lord Bholenath. Baba Satyanarayan remains absorbed in the penance and meditation of Bholenath throughout the day and comes to normal state only once in the midnight. During this time Baba consumes fruits and milk and meets the devotees present in the ashram and after listening to their problems, tells the solution through gestures. Baba has been engaged in penance since 1998 and in 2003 he received the title of 108, since then the number of devotees has increased along with the fame of Baba Dham. On this occasion Gurupal Bhalla, Mahesh Sahu, Vivek Ranjan Sinha, Gyanu Gautam, Manish Sharma, Collector Kartikeya Goyal, CEO District Panchayat Jitendra Yadav were present.

In village Kosmanara, located about 7 kilometers from Raigarh district headquarters, Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba remains engrossed in the penance of Lord Bholenath in the open space in all three seasons of rain, summer and winter. According to the information received from the local people, Satyanarayan Baba has been doing penance by sitting in the open place for more than 25 years. People told that the place where Baba is doing penance was earlier a barren place. On this barren land, Baba collected some stones, gave them the shape of a Shivalinga and dedicated it by cutting his tongue and since then he has been continuously engaged in penance.
