Chief Minister Sai said that unbiased press and fearless journalism are essential for a healthy democracy. Media makes citizens aware of their rights and responsibilities and makes them aware of national and public interest. Indian Press Day is a day to remember the importance and contribution of free and unbiased press in a vibrant democracy like India.
Chief Minister Sai said that together we can ensure that the media can make its important contribution in taking the country forward on the path of progress by properly discharging its role in our democracy.
