Raipur/Bastar. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is on a tour of Bastar today. He conducted an aerial inspection of the flood-affected area of Bastar district. Minister Kedar Kashyap and Minister Tank Ram Verma were also present with him. After the inspection, the Chief Minister will review the officials’ efforts to help the flood-affected people by holding a meeting with the officials of Bastar, Bijapur, Sukma and Dantewada.
The administration has also set up relief camps for the flood-affected people, where food and medical facilities are being provided to them. Apart from this, clothes are being collected and distributed through donations. Rotary Club members distributed clothes, while relief material was also provided by public representatives in the past days. Nitish Verma said that more than 100 families have been affected, out of which 22 houses have been completely damaged, while many houses have suffered partial damage.
