Adilabad: Sounding the Lok Sabha election bugle from Indravelli in Adilabad district on Friday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said BRS supremo K Chandrasekhar Rao “will never become a minister again in this lifetime, leave alone the chief minister”. While making a scathing attack on the BRS supremo, Revanth also compared him with Nityananda. “You all know about Nityananda. He bought an island and declared himself its king. KCR can also buy an island with his ill-gotten gains and declare himself its king. Or he can become the CM of his farmhouse. But KCR will never become CM again in this life. He will not even become a minister. KCR, a sinner (Papala Bhairavdu) who betrayed all sections of people, is once again seeking power without any shame,” thundered Revanth. After launching various development works in Indraveli, the Chief Minister announced in a huge public meeting that the state government will fill 15,000 constable posts in the next 15 days with the approval of the Cabinet. Priyanka will launch Rs 500 LPG cylinder scheme Drawing parallels between his government and the previous BRS regime, Revanth said KCR provided jobs to his son and daughter, leaving unemployed youth in the state in the lurch. Saying that 15,000 constable posts would be filled in 15 days, the Chief Minister said two guarantees – domestic LPG refill at Rs 500 and free electricity up to 200 units – would be implemented soon. He revealed that AICC leader Priyanka Gandhi will formally launch the Rs 500 domestic LPG refill scheme. Recalling that his government recently recruited 7,000 staff nurses in government hospitals and also handed over appointment letters, Revanth said the BRS regime neglected the recruitment of nurses. “Not a single woman got the post of staff nurse during the BRS regime, but KCR’s daughter K Kavitha was made MLC,” he said. Asserting that BRS was not a major force at the Centre, Revanth said there were only NDA and India factions. “Even if BRS wins a few seats, KCR will sell them to Modi,” he warned the public, claiming that voting for BRS was like voting for BJP.
State cabinet meeting to be held on Sunday
The Telangana Cabinet meeting is likely to be held at the Secretariat on February 4. In a note sent to secretaries of various departments, the government wants them to submit a detailed list of the proposed agenda. All senior officers have been asked to be available at the headquarters on Sunday for the meeting. The cabinet is expected to approve the recruitment of constables and also decide the date for the start of the budget session of the state legislature. Cabinet is likely to approve draft bills related to the BC census and others for introduction in the Assembly.
All pending projects will be completed: CM
On the talk by some leaders that the Congress government will fall in six months, Revanth said the Kaleshwaram project was in vain because BRS was involved in corruption. “My government cannot be blown away by the wind. We will provide a stable government,” he said.
The CM called upon the youth to tie those trying to destabilize the government to a neem tree and beat them.

First Chief Minister to visit Indraveli
Revanth is the first Chief Minister to visit Indraveli after the 1981 massacre. Responding to BRS leaders’ criticism of tribals being shot dead during the Congress rule, Revanth said he was correcting the mistakes made by the rulers of undivided Andhra Pradesh. He said the state government is providing financial assistance and implementing housing schemes for the martyrs. The BRS government did nothing for the martyrs, he said.
Saying that he saw dry land in Adilabad district from the helicopter and also saw farmers using tube wells, Revanth wondered what happened to the BRS government’s claims that it had provided irrigation facilities to one crore acres. “The government will arrange a helicopter for you. Come and see the dry lands here,” Revanth told KCR.
Before addressing the public meeting, Revanth held a meeting with women’s groups. He visited the Nagoba temple in Keslapur and performed special worship of the serpent deity.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for the development works of the temple. He said he would adopt the district. The Chief Minister also said that all pending irrigation projects would be completed and construction of Tummidihetti would be started.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that with the launch of the Dharani portal, the lands snatched by the BRS government will be returned to the tribals. He termed Kaleshwaram and Mission Bhagiratha as “massive scams”.
