CM inaugurated a building worth Rs 59 crore for new government colleges.

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday inaugurated new government arts college buildings constructed at a cost of ₹57.73 crore and additional classrooms constructed at a cost of ₹2.20 crore in four districts of Tamil Nadu via video conferencing from the Chennai Secretariat.
New buildings have been constructed at a cost of ₹57.73 crore for the newly established government arts and science colleges at Vadalur, Senji, Nattarampalli, and Jayankondam in Cuddalore, Villupuram, Tirupattur, and Ariyalur districts, respectively. Six additional classrooms constructed at a cost of ₹2.20 crore at the Manalmedu Government Arts and Science College in Mayiladuthurai district were inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
Following this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth ₹2,590.30 crore was signed between Tata Technologies and the Tamil Nadu Government’s Technical Education Commission in the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
Appointment Orders: The Chief Minister issued appointment orders to those selected for the posts of 190 Assistant Professors, 12 Assistant Librarians, and 11 Assistant Directors of Physical Education in colleges affiliated to Anna University.
Higher Education Minister K. Cheliyan, Chief Secretary N. Muruganantham, Higher Education Secretary P. Shankar, College Education Commissioner A. Sundaravalli, Technical Education Commissioner J. Innocent Divya, Anna University Registrar (P.) V. Kumaresan, Tata Technologies Executive Vice President Shailesh Sarab, International Head (Government Schemes – Skills) Sushil Kumar, and others attended the event.
