Church inauguration stopped due to ruckus, Hindu organization angry

Bilaspur. There was a lot of ruckus on Monday regarding the inauguration of the church in the religious city of Ratanpur in the district. Hindu organizations created a lot of ruckus opposing the opening of the church in the religious city. However, in view of the ruckus, the organizers have canceled the program. At the same time, the workers of the Hindu organization are adamant to recite Hanuman Chalisa at the church site. Here, in view of the ruckus and protest, a large number of police force has been deployed in Ratanpur.

In fact, people of the Christian community have built a church in the name of Adivasi community prayer house in Banglabhatha village of Ratanpur. According to the scheduled program, the dedication i.e. inauguration program of the prayer house was to be held from 11.30 am on Tuesday. Bishop Diocese of Chhattisgarh Sushma Kumar as well as Kota MLA Atal Srivastava were to participate in it.

Here, Hindu organizations got the news of starting a church in the religious and historical city of Ratanpur. Then they announced to protest under the leadership of BJP’s Hindu leader Prabal Pratap Singh Judev. Gradually, leaders and workers of Hindu organisations started gathering. Due to which the organisers have cancelled the inauguration programme of the church.
