Narayanpur. Abujhmar Peace Marathon 2025 was organized in the district on Sunday, March 2, in which more than 11 thousand runners including from the country and abroad participated. In this marathon, class VI students Sumendra Chakradhari and Saurabh Potai living in Boys Hostel Narayanpur ran a 21 km race. Seeing their passion, Collector Pratishtha Mamgain encouraged them and boosted their morale by giving them a cheque of Rs 30,000 each and wished them a bright future. Collector Mamgain has told their family members to encourage them to join the Army and Navy in future. Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Rajendra Singh, Sports Officer Dr. Sumit Garg, Superintendent Lokesh Kumar and their family members were present on this occasion.
Collector Pratishtha Mamgain met people from various villages of the district in the weekly Jandarshan program organized at the Collectorate office. He met them and assured them that their demands, problems and complaint related applications would be resolved and directed the officers of the concerned department to take immediate action. Today in Jan Darshan, Garanji, Paturbeda and Shanti Nagar regarding installation of solar tank, all residents of GAD Colony Dumratarai regarding problems being faced in GAD Colony Dumratarai, Kumari Pawanbatti Nureti village Kihkar regarding getting job, Faguram village Garanji regarding land demarcation, all villagers Hudmi (Panipara) regarding solar pump being out of order, all Divyangs regarding mental harassment and threat of dismissal from job by Pariyana Residential School Garanji, all health workers regarding salary payment, Anita Kachalam, Budhni Salam (Caretaker) regarding mental and physical harassment by Pariyana Divyang Residential School, Head Teacher Navin Prathmik Shala Koliyabhata regarding toilet repair and boundary wall construction in school building, Nimmi Bharti Banglapara regarding appointment in place of Kunti Bharti, Birendra Kumar Banglapara regarding work in Municipality, Raini Kumeti village Baising regarding students from Pota Cabin Devgaon Hostel Regarding eviction, Telsi, a resident of Amrav, submitted an application to stop the construction work and Vijay Salam, President NUI Narayanpur, submitted an application regarding the lack of doctors and basic facilities in the Community Health Center Chhotedongar. Collector Pratistha Mamgain took the applications received in the public hearing seriously and assured the villagers to take prompt action on all the applications.
