Entertainment: Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sankranthi entertainer, Man Shankar Vara Prasad Garu (MSG), continues its strong run at the box office, breaking records one after another. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, MSG set a new benchmark in the industry by earning a record-breaking ₹14.70 crore on its fifth day in the Telugu states, surpassing the previous record of ₹13 crore set by SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Ram Charan and NTR. This makes MSG the highest-grossing film on its fifth day in Telugu cinema history. The film also surpassed 2.5 million ticket sales on BookMyShow in just five days. Worldwide, MSG has already grossed over ₹226 crore, crossing the ₹200 crore mark in record time. With strong viewership across all regions, the film is expected to maintain its momentum over the weekend. Taking advantage of the weekend, overseas collections will also increase.
