Raipur/Kawardha: 19 villagers who had gone to collect tendu leaves died in a tragic accident in Bahpani village of the district. Their innocent children were left behind. Their parents had so many dreams regarding their education, which they had the responsibility to fulfill. Immediately after the incident, on the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh each was provided to the families. Also, MLA Bhavna Bohra took the responsibility of raising these innocent children. The pleasant thing is that these children are progressing rapidly on the path of their progress. Today Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met these children in the Vidhan Sabha premises. The Chief Minister pampered the children a lot and said that you people have seen the Vidhan Sabha. Here we all discuss and together we prepare policies for the development of the state.
Tomorrow when you people will also grow up. And whoever among you will become a public representative will come here. This is the temple of democracy, from here we prepare the way for the development of the state. The Chief Minister said that our intention behind showing the Vidhan Sabha to all of you is that the children should understand better how democracy works.
The Chief Minister asked the children about their studies. The children said that their studies are going well. The Chief Minister also asked the children about their village. The children gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about their village. The Chief Minister told MLA Bohra that you are giving such a beautiful education to the children. This is a very good thing. The more we work in the field of education of children, the easier it will be to achieve the goal of our developed Chhattisgarh.
It is worth noting that on 20 May 2024, 19 villagers returning after plucking tendu leaves died in a tragic road accident near village Bahpani in Kawardha district. The Chief Minister had announced to give Rs 5 lakh each to the families giving immediate relief in the accident. Today 14 children of these deceased families had reached the Vidhan Sabha to meet the Chief Minister.
