Chief Secretary took a meeting regarding encroachment on government land

Uttarakhand. Chief Secretary Dr. S. S. The government’s “vision-25, resolution 2022” was reviewed in the secretariat on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Sandhu. The Chief Secretary said that all the departments should mark their land and officers should be given the responsibility to ensure that there is no encroachment on the government land. He said that various ropeway projects are being implemented across the state under Parvatmala Yojana, which will be completed soon. He said that the possibilities of ropeway should be explored at other places as well.

Under the General Bipin Singh Rawat Ex-Servicemen Credit Guarantee Scheme, the Chief Secretary directed to collect the data of the state so that the ex-servicemen of the state can avail maximum benefits of this scheme. He instructed to monitor this project on a daily basis. He directed to focus on the development of roads from Tanakpur, Ramnagar and Haldwani to Manaskhand Circuit to make it easier to reach Manaskhand Circuit.

The Chief Secretary said that in order to strengthen the women self-help groups, the products made by them should be made available in the market. He said that online platform should be made available for marketing. He directed to increase the maximum number of Jan Aushadhi Kendras in the state, said that Jan Aushadhi Kendras are proving very effective in providing cheap generic medicines to the common man. He said that there are many beautiful hill towns in the state which have great potential to be developed as tourist destinations and feasibility tests should be conducted to identify such towns to be developed on the lines of Mussoorie and Nainital. Along with this, he directed to identify and develop maximum tourist places suitable for adventure tourism in the state. He instructed to identify and develop maximum eco-tourism sites in the state to promote eco-tourism.
