Dehradun. Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu took a meeting regarding the preparations for the proposed G-20 summit from 24 to 28 May 2023 at the Secretariat on Monday. The Chief Secretary took detailed information on the outline of the program and their preparations. The Chief Secretary said that a detailed outline has been prepared from the airport to the program venues and back to the airport so that the participants do not face any problem during the G-20 conference. To be taken He said that the airport authority and the district administration will provide help desk to the participants at the airport with mutual coordination. He also instructed to ensure special security arrangements while keeping the traffic system in order during the movement of the participants. Said that the traffic plan should be prepared in such a way that neither the G-20 participants face any problem, nor the passengers of Chardham Yatra and the general public face any problem.

The Chief Secretary said that considering this as an opportunity to give a glimpse of the tourism and culture of the state in front of the participants from the country and abroad, the tourism, art, culture, yoga and Ayush of the state will be promoted in this program along with the promotion of the above products. Information should also be made available. He said that the participation of common people should also be ensured during the conference. The departments whose role will be played during the G-20 programme, necessary action should be ensured by those departments at their own level.

On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary R. K Sudhanshu, ADG Law and Order V. Murugesan, Secretary Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, R. Rajesh Kumar and Vinod Kumar Suman, S.N. Pandey, District Magistrate Dehradun Sonika, Vice President MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari and officials of other concerned departments including District Magistrate Tehri were present through video conferencing.
