Chief Secretary calls for early completion of construction of Dapo Mini Secretariat
Arunachal: Emphasising on early completion of the remaining work of mini secretariat in Upper Subansiri district, Chief Secretary Manish Kumar Gupta urged the executing agency to take up the ground development work of the mini secretariat on a war footing. During his visit to the district on Friday, the Chief Secretary reviewed the status of development activities in the district in a coordination meeting with the DC and departmental officers. Directing the DC to immediately shift his office to the mini secretariat, he said that since the building is ready, other ground development works like parking lot and ground development works can be taken up simultaneously. The Chief Secretary also directed the concerned authority to take steps to make the Government Polytechnic College at Taliha functional immediately. Besides, he enquired about the status of vibrant village projects and waste management besides health and education sectors. DC Tasso Gambo made a presentation on the development activities and achievements of the district as well as the challenges being faced by it. ADC Gamtum Padi also spoke. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Health Commissioner Pawan Kumar and Sports Secretary Abu Tayeng during his visit to the district.
