Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will honor courageous children tomorrow
Raipur. Veer Bal Diwas will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in Chhattisgarh on 26th December. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Veer will participate in the programs organized on Children’s Day. Courageous children will be honored at Pahuna, the capital residence of Chief Minister Sai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message will be broadcast in all the registered child care institutions of the state. On this occasion, along with the screening of audio-visual made by the Ministry of Culture of the Central Government, a digital exhibition based on Veer Bal Diwas will be organized. On this occasion, the winners of the Veer Bal competition will also be awarded.
It is noteworthy that in memory of the supreme sacrifice and courage of the sons of Guru Gobind Singh, Veer Bal Diwas will be celebrated on 26th December in the entire country as well as in Chhattisgarh. On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas in the state, various activities are being organized at the district level, municipality, ward, block, gram panchayat level. The objective of these activities is to establish and strengthen the values and contribution towards nation building among the youth and adolescents, countrymen and women. For this, especially the experiences of freedom fighters and former winners of the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award (PMRBP) are being shared.
Before Veer Bal Diwas on 22nd and 23rd December, registration and activities of adolescent girls and boys have been uploaded on the portal My Bharat Portal. During this, oath taking and brave child competition was also organized for a developed India. In the competition, painting, reading (recitation), singing, poetry and essay competition were organized on the topic of bravery. The winning participants of these competitions will be rewarded on Veer Bal Diwas. Women and Child Development Department, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Panchayat, Higher Education and Urban Administration Department have been made the nodal agencies for organizing Veer Bal Diwas. Volunteers of NYK, NSS, NCC are also helping in the mobilization activities.
