Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the 3-day Mainpat Mahotsav 2024 on Friday. During this, the Chief Minister has announced from the stage that from March, the money of Mahtari Vandan Yojana will come into the accounts of women. More than 70 lakh applications have been received so far. At the same time, farmers will get a lump sum amount of Rs 917 per quintal of the difference in support price.

Famous artists of Bollywood, Bhojpuri and Chhattisgarh will perform in Mainpat Mahotsav. There will also be many adventure sports in Mainpat. Tourists have started reaching Mainpat since Friday morning. To promote tourism in Mainpat, District Administration Surguja had started Mainpat Mahotsav in the year 2012. Famous artists of the country participate in it. Adventure sports, sailing, kite fest, fair, dance etc attract people here. In the program, Culture Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade and MLAs Ramkumar Toppo, Prabodh Minj, Rajesh Aggarwal, Renuka Singh, Bhaiyalal Rajwade, Shakuntala Porte, Local public representatives including Gomti Sai, Uddeshwari Paikra, Raimuni Bhagat, Bhulan Singh will be present.
On the first day of the program i.e. on 23rd February, there will be performances by local artists including famous singer Altaf Raja, Singer Roop Kumar Rathore, comedian Padmashree Dr. Surendra Dubey, Malkhamb artist of Abujhmad, singer Aanchal Mandilwar, singer Manali Sankhla, dancer Ritvika Banerjee. On the second day of the program on February 24, local artists including Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal, famous ghazal singer Kumar Satyam, Chhattisgarhi singer Aaru Sahu, Dulduli dance group of Sambalpur will perform. On the last day of the program i.e. 25th February, local artists including famous Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal, music director Palash Muchhal, Chhattisgarhi singer Sanjay Surila, famous singer Stuti Jaiswal and singers Swapnil Jaiswal, Amandeep, Sufi singer Nasir Ninder will perform. Along with this, cultural presentations will also be given by school children.
