Raipur: Under the program Charcha Mein of regional news unit Doordarshan Kendra Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai discussed the priorities of the state government. During the interview, regarding the work being done on good governance in the state, the Chief Minister said that on the very second day of assuming the responsibility of the Chief Minister, the Cabinet took a decision to build houses for 18 lakh people. On the occasion of Good Governance Day on 25th December, the birth anniversary of Atal ji, a two-year bonus was given to more than 12 lakh farmers. The Chief Minister also told the priorities for the tribals. He said that for the first time Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee formed the Ministry of Tribal Welfare. Adequate budget was given to this ministry so that tribal areas could be better developed. The Chief Minister said that we have brought Mahtari Vandan Yojana under Modi’s guarantee and we will give Rs 12,000 under it in a year. For this, funds have been arranged in the supplementary budget during the three-day assembly session. This scheme will be implemented soon.
How to enter public life. On this question, the Chief Minister said that after independence, CP Berar state was formed whose capital was Nagpur. At this time our grandfather was a nominated MLA. Elder father was also MLA from Tapkara. A member of the family, Shri Narhari Prasad Sai, was the Union Minister of State for Communications in the Shri Morarji Desai government.

What are you going to do for the youth? In response to this question, the Chief Minister said that our country is a country of youth. When I was an MP, for the first time the Ministry of Skill Development was formed in the Government of India and the work of skill development of youth started so that new opportunities could be created for the youth. Will strengthen block wise ITI and start new trades. Under Modi’s guarantee, we have said that we will recruit one lakh posts. It has been decided to investigate the PSC 2021 exam.
The schemes introduced in the past years will be reviewed. If these schemes are in the interest of Chhattisgarh, we will expand them. On what is the plan to beautify Jashpur, the Chief Minister said that there is immense potential for tourism here. There are such forests here that sunlight cannot reach inside, there are very beautiful waterfalls. For this, we have directed Collector Jashpur to prepare a roadmap for the development of other tourism related activities in Jashpur.
The Chief Minister said that the state has been created by former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the all-round development of this place. Today itself we have held a meeting of the State Planning Commission. In this we have decided to make plans for the balanced development of the state. We will increase ITI in tribal areas. Fisheries will be increased here. Opportunities for forest produce promotion will be increased, this was discussed in detail in the Planning Commission meeting today. Our cabinet team is very good and through this team we will take forward the development of the state.
Expressing his views regarding sports, the Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh has immense potential in the field of sports. Khelo India scheme of the Government of India plays a very important role for this. We have a very good stadium here. Yesterday Sourav Ganguly came, he also praised it a lot. Hill Korwa do archery very well. Will work towards setting up an archery academy here. Expressing his views about the industry, the Chief Minister said that we have a lot of mineral resources here. Through its exploitation, we will work towards improving the industrial scenario of Chhattisgarh. Our illustrious Prime Minister thinks that the country’s economy should reach five trillion by 2047. Chhattisgarh will also work very fast for this.
