Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that I am fortunate that I got the opportunity to work under the leadership of Atal ji. Revered Atal ji’s personality was such that even the opposition parties never got tired of appreciating his work. We are determined for the development of Chhattisgarh by following respected Atal ji’s mantra of good governance. Chief Minister Shri Sai was addressing the poetry recital and seminar program organized at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur this evening on the occasion of Good Governance Day, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The program was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Sai by offering flowers on the photograph of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On this occasion, Minister O.P. Chaudhary, MP Sunil Soni, MLA Anuj Sharma, Guru Khushwant Saheb, Shri Motilal Sahu were present. On this occasion, the guests including the Chief Minister listened to the poetry recitation of enlightened poets.
While congratulating Good Governance Day, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that there are about 6 lakh villages in the country and under the leadership of Atal ji, such a network of roads was laid in the villages through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, people remember him spontaneously. He said that through this scheme, villages across the country were connected by roads, which proved to be a milestone in the development of the country and changed the picture of rural infrastructure. The Chief Minister said that former Prime Minister Late Atal ji understood the pain of the farmers of the country, he worked to give Kisan Credit Cards to the farmers. Through which even today farmers are moving ahead in the path of development by doing farming without any worry. Kisan Credit Card is proving to be a boon for the progress of farmers.
On the occasion of Good Governance Day, the birthday of respected Atal ji, he appealed to the people to see the photo exhibition based on Atal’s entire life journey and governance plans at Nalanda campus. Cabinet Minister O.P. Chaudhary also addressed the program. He said that respected Atal ji had built Chhattisgarh and we are determined to realize his dreams and make a well-governed Chhattisgarh. He also shared his views about Atal ji’s tenure as Prime Minister and his poems. The keynote speaker of the seminar, Vice Chancellor of Kushabhau Thackeray University, Professor Baldev Bhai Sharma, gave a lecture on the entire life journey of revered Atal ji. In the poetry recital and symposium, eminent poets Padmashree Dr. Surendra Dubey, Ramanand Tripathi, Kishore Tiwari and Ms. Annapurna Pawar revived the personality and work of former Prime Minister Atal with their lines. The welcome address in the program was given by Shri Anbalagan P., Secretary of Culture Department. Director Shri Vivek Acharya gave the vote of thanks.
