Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved a financial provision of Rs 106.13 crore for 367 road development works in 21 urban bodies of the state.
With this approval of Mr. Gehlot, the work of major repair of main roads will be done in 21 urban bodies of the state. Under the budget announcement of Mr. Gehlot, works of 50 km roads in Municipal Corporation area, 35 km in Municipal Council area and 20 km in Municipality area are proposed to be done.
It is noteworthy that in the budget of the year 2023-24, various road development works were announced by the Chief Minister with a view to strengthen the infrastructure in the state. In compliance of this, approval of Rs 1450 crore has already been given for 4042 road development works of 238 urban bodies.
