The Chhattisgarh government had sent this proposal through the Home Department on 16 February 2018, which has now been approved. With this honor, the police force personnel will wear a replica of this flag as an insignia on their uniform, which will symbolize their bravery and service. The President’s Flag is considered the highest recognition for any police or military force and it reflects the national level appreciation of the loyalty, dedication and diligence of Chhattisgarh Police.
