Chennai: According to a press release issued by Southern Railway, special trains will be operated between Villupuram and Tiruvannamalai for the Pournami Girivalam (full moon circumambulation) at Tiruvannamalai. Additionally, some express trains running between Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan will have temporary augmentation of coaches. Train No. 06130 Villupuram – Tiruvannamalai Unreserved Special will depart from Villupuram at 10:10 AM on February 1st (Sunday) and arrive at Tiruvannamalai at 11:45 AM the same day (one service). In the return direction, Train No. 06129 Tiruvannamalai – Villupuram Unreserved Special will depart from Tiruvannamalai at 12:40 PM on February 1st and arrive at Villupuram at 2:15 PM the same day (one service).
The coach composition will be an eight-car MEMU. Train No. 22497/22498 Sri Ganganagar (Rajasthan) – Tiruchirappalli – Sri Ganganagar Humsafar Express will have one AC Three-tier coach temporarily added from Sri Ganganagar from February 2nd to 23rd (Monday) and from Tiruchirappalli from February 6th to 27th (Friday). The revised composition will have 17 AC Three-tier coaches, two luggage-cum-brake vans and one pantry car. Train No. 20481/20482 Jodhpur – Tiruchirappalli – Jodhpur Humsafar Express will have one Sleeper Class coach temporarily added from Jodhpur from February 4th to 25th (Wednesday) and from Tiruchirappalli from February 7th to 28th (Saturday). The revised composition will have 16 AC Three-tier coaches, two Sleeper Class coaches, two luggage-cum-brake vans and one pantry car.
