Cheated of lakhs on the pretext of getting a job in the ministry, accused arrested

Jagdalpur. The police have arrested the accused who cheated in the name of getting a job in the ministry and have registered a case against him in the police station Bodhghat. The accused had defrauded a total of Rs 7,29,989. On May 7, the applicant came to Bodhghat police station and lodged a report that between 16/08/23 to 13/09/23, the applicant identified himself as Naveen Chawla, giving his car on rent to the Ministry of Raipur and meeting the officials of the Ministry. A total of Rs 7,29,989/- was taken on different dates by luring the applicant by pretending to have identity and luring him to get a job in the post of Legal Assistant. Have been cheated.

Under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Nag and City Superintendent of Police Udit Pushkar, a team was formed under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Bodhghat Leeladhar Rathore and arrested the above accused Naveen Chawla, father Rajkumar Chawla, aged 27 years, resident of Dhamtari, who was absconding from his home since the date of report, who was arrested in Naya Raipur. He was caught and when interrogated regarding the incident, he admitted to causing the incident and was duly arrested and is being sent to the court for judicial custody. In this case, approximately Rs 3,00,000/- deposited in the bank account of the accused has been seized by the police station Bodhghat.
