Chandigarh: Two former presidents vie for the top post of District Bar Association

Chandigarh: In the Chandigarh District Bar Association (DBA) elections, there will be a contest between Sunil Tony and Ashok Chauhan for the post of president. Both have been elected for this post earlier. Assistant Returning Officer for the elections, Advocate Poonam Thakur said that advocates Gagandeep Goyal, Sandeep Gujjar and Gurdev Singh are contesting for the post of vice-president. While for the post of secretary, there will be a contest between Vivek Mohan Sharma and Amish Sharma. Pooja Dewan has already been declared the unopposed winner for the post of joint secretary. Four candidates Sunil Kumar Pandey, Balwant Singh, Ujjwal Bhasin and Mandeep Singh are in the fray for the post of treasurer. Elections will be held on February 28.
