Chandigarh: The Director, Higher Education, (DHE) finally released the provisional list of allotment of colleges on merit basis for centralised courses three hours after beyond the deadline. The list was scheduled to be out at 7 pm today, however, it was released at 10.13 pm.
The cut-off for BCom in colleges witnessed a dip in comparison to last year. As the highest marks last year were recorded at 116.40 per cent (outside UT pool) at GGDSD College, Sector 32, this year it has dropped to 107.20 per cent. Similarly, for the UT pool, it was recorded at 114.98 per cent last year, whereas the cut-off this year went down to 106.74 per cent.
In the same college, the cut-off for BCA (outside UT pool) has been recorded at 105 per cent, whereas last year it was 118.78. In the UT pool, it has been recorded at 103.51 per cent, whereas last year it was recorded at 118 per cent. While these two streams witnessed a dip, the cut-off for BBA at the same college shot to 99.20 per cent outside UT pool in comparison to last year’s 97.80. The highest UT pool cut-off was recorded at 98.51 per cent at PG Government College, Sector 11.
