Chandigarh: Around 50 cars and bikes were vandalised by a group of miscreants in Sector 56 last night. Suraj, whose car was also damaged, said he returned from work around 11 pm and parked his vehicle near his house when the miscreants reached there and started breaking the windows of his car.
When he intervened, the miscreants attacked him with sticks. Another person said the miscreants attacked him with sharp weapons without any provocation. Both the injured were admitted to GMSH-16. Police reached the spot after being informed. Local residents claimed that even after police reached the spot, the miscreants continued to damage vehicles.
