Chandigarh: A disabled girl from Delhi is also among the graduates

Chandigarh: Kumari Sarita, a differently-abled student who was among the recipients of degrees at the PGIMER Convocation, said the institute was the best thing that happened to her career. She completed her BSc (Medical Lab Technology) from PGIMER in 2021. Sarita, who is currently employed at Lok Nayak Hospital in Delhi, said, “Once you graduate and work at a hospital like PGIMER, there is no dearth of work. At this institute, I never felt that I needed special attention to access knowledge and experience. I am originally from Delhi and I never let distance become an issue for me to come to Chandigarh and study.” Kumari Sarita hopes to be back on campus and relive her student life as she plans to pursue MSc (MLT) from the institute.
